On December 6, Azerbaijan detected 585 new COVID-19 cases, 944 patients have recovered, and 16 patients died, AzVision.az reports citing the Operational Headquarters under Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers.
Up until now, 596 973 people have been infected with coronavirus in the country, 565 521 of them have recovered, and 7983 people have died. Currently, 23 469 people are under treatment in special hospitals.
To detect the COVID-19 cases, 5 385 tests have been carried out in Azerbaijan over the past day, and a total of 5 608 158 tests have been conducted so far.
